That's great that you have so much talent working with children at least from infant to preschool age, though please don't try to follow any leads from this forum as one never knows if the job position is from a reliable source or character. Perhaps you can look at your local classified ads namedly in Sunday's paper. The public schools may need a substitute as a teacher's assistant (I believe public schools call them either 'instructional aide' or 'educational assistant') within the public school system(s). Otherwise, there may be local private schools that are hiring, however, some of those private schools end up with a higher turnover rate than public schools. (Probably in part due to school rules being less rigid for those in private school.) And they say that it's best to go to the school or place that's hiring in-person (as opposed to picking up a job application and bringing it back later) unless the company instead requests sending a resume along with cover letter (cover letters are supposed to be sent with each resume :) It will most likely be very difficult to get a job within the public schools at this time since it's so close to the end of the school year, but until you find another job, perhaps you can get a sub aide position. Perhaps you can look at a few public school systems' websites and seeing if any openings are available.
