The BOP pays good, but I think you will find pay isn't everything!

Yes not many railroad workers end up in prison(as a convict),or seriously injured on the job.

If I were you, yes. That is if you have a good job lined up with the railroad. I know several prison guards who were seriously injured.

it all depends on you. i have a theory- if you dont know what to do with your life someone else will decide for you and it wont be what you like. find out what are your goals and which job helps you get there.

You would definately be going into a far more positive world. As dangerous as being a prison guard can be, you are always around the dregs of society and I believe that if you want to have a happier life and get ahead, you should do something that has more positive people with happier outcomes.
