Call local office temp agencies. They may be able to place you for a few days or a week doing something totally mindless like collating or photocopying. If you type quickly and accurately, you even might get a keyboarding assignment.

Not really any ideas except possibly find a sales job that is entry level, like best buy footlocker or in the area.
Because many company's are cuting back on part timers because they want stability

Look for work as a part-time receptionist or office assistant. Or look for Data Entry. That's what I did! Very little of my college work was spent cashiering, and never waitressing. There's also jobs like being a make-up counter person and retail sales if you don't mind working in a mall.

Monster.com as well as careerbuilders both have sites just for college students. A receptionist is always needed, just depends on when you're available.
