Strongly consider Marketing and Finance (if you are selecting among these 4 choices). Marketing is getting increasing focused on analytics to determine the ROI of marketing (i.e. the payback). That is a good application of your analytical education. Finance is analytical always - and a very good skill to develop for any business venture in the future. FYI: I have a BS EE and finished my MBA 13 years ago....

HR will get you nowhere w/ a science background...you are way above HR. Shoot for marketing, administration and systems, finance in that order. If you want to reach the lvls of VP in your field, stick to marketing cuz they hang with sales and those are the ones that reach the top. Still don't believe me? Check out the bios of the CEOs and VPs o of the top companies you admire. Great job...you are very marketable! Years from now, get a PhD and teach in a major university so when the young guys get in you won't be the old guy who won't give up his job. You can give back to your your field and help others!

I would first get my BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). You will learn the healthcare system inside and out, and you will come to know the habits of the players very well. Then, go back and get your MBA. After that, the ever-expanding world of health-related businesses is your oyster. And, along the way, you spend some time learning how to be compassionate. What could be better? GET, RN, LCMT, CNMT Registered Nurse

I have an MBA and I am a Regional VP with major corporation. I also recruit and hire MBAs. With a strong Science background like you appear to have, it would be assumed that you are also strong in analysis and quantitative methods. Therefore, you would want to incorporate new strengths or areas of expertise to your educational credentials. I would add the "Marketing & HR (Human Resource Management)." I would pick up about 20-30 credit hours in these areas. It could be that you will always work in a technical area, but to advance in the corporate world, it is vital that you have the "people, communication & marketing skills" to work and cooperate with others in order to meet the objectives of the company. Surprising as it may seem, people do not fail in the corporate world due to lack of technical skills; they fail because they can not get along or relate to other people in the organization. The Marketing & HR areas will help to round out your professional credentials, and you will be viewed by Senior Management as "promotable" to higher levels in the Company. Senior Managers want employees that are both strong technically and strong in marketing, HR and communications. Taking the initiative to pursue this type of study (Marketing & HR) now, also shows Senior Mgt. that you, too, are aware of just how important these additional strengths are for Companies to be successful in todays World market.

The best combination would be Systems and Marketing.. Most my friends who were from Science took Systems and Marketing.. The reason.. Taking Systems as a platform you can Go for Corporate Sales in the Marketing feild or for that case even Sales feild.. The best position you can start of with is Business Development Executive or Pre-Sales Consultant..
