Should I include my job experience on my resume if I don't feel it reflects the skills needed for my career?
Asked by Badassyellabone
I have been with a staffing agency for three months, working temp jobs. Should I leave this experience off my resume? I worry it will look bad to employers if the first job listed on my resume ended three months ago. Then again, I feel that my temporary jobs as a day laborer do not reflect upon my relevant skills.

You dont want to have gaps in your resume .. it will look as though you work for short peroids of time and then quit ..
If it doesnt cause a huge gap then it shouldn't matter ....
You never know something you think is not important, a HR person might find value in,

I have a couple different resumes geared towards different industries that highlight my experience in each one.

It will show that you have been working and are willing to work even if the job is not your favorite kind and it will provide your future employer with a solid work reference. I would include it.

Leave it on. Any experience is better than none. Your past work can tell a great deal about your characteristics and qualifications beyond what the precise job activities would seem to indicate.

It depends on if you have other job experience to offer. If not then you will be showing that you have work experience. Work experience is good even if it is not in your field. Show you have had a job, especially if it is your first "real job." Been there. Good Luck hun.
