over 24 is a stretch but not impossible, i done my first years bricklaying when i was 24. if you get your boss to pay you off you can claim JSA they can put you through for at least some training schemes. but don't do anything untill you've weighed the pros and cons and did your research making sure you have a few grand in the bank first.

A:
My husband got into CNC machining with no experience. He started working for the company in their stock room and when a position opened up he trained for it and got the position. He worked for that company for 5 years after that. Just check with some smaller local companies and ask about training opportunities.

Enroll in a tech school- not a long course & they have many similar classes to go with it. Here in KcMO we have the Business & Technology Center & they offer all those classes & more. Good luck!!!

Find a tech school and take the course. I work in a machine shop and the potential employees who come here with schooling are more likely to get hired than the ones with no schooling and no experience.
