What is it like working for a Verizon call center?

Hello and thanks for looking. I was offered a job at a Verizon call center. I was wondering if anyone knows what its like to work at one? Are most of the people calling rude? Does time go by fast? Thanks in advance.

Make sure it is "Verizon" UNION ! "Verizon wireless" is a "NON-union" (old Bell Atlantic Mobile, or "BAM") company, it is owned by "Verizon", and the employee's do NOT want to join the UNION, as a result, they get slapped all over the place by verizon, call center's are busy, and they yell at you if you don't pick up the phone by the second ring.
My wife works for "Verizon" (UNION) !
