Check back with the school that you took the classes at. They should be able to provide you with information. They should also be up on whatever requirements are in place from your state licensing. (If you are in the states.) Good Luck.

It depends on the state that you live in. In most cases you will need to obtain some type of certification. You should check with the licensing board for nursing in your state.

i guess it depends on what country your living in. in the UK i don't think you need a license. i work in a residential home for the elderly and i have no license. they just encourage you to do training in care. your best going to an information center or try visiting a place where you may want to work and ask them about needing a license.

I am pretty sure it is the same for each state, but most facilities do require that you have a current cna license to work as a "cna". I know in North Carolina, if you let you license's run out, they make you take the entire course all over again. Then again, since you have taken the cna course the assisted living may allow you to work with them anyways. Good luck!!
