I'm in my second year of college and plan to become an RN, I want to know how much I might start getting paid once I'm done with my degree.

It really depends on where you work... I work in long term care and RN's make about $26 and hour, but if you work in a hospital you could make easily $30 plus an hour... it all depends on what shift too. Most places offer a shift differental of a few dollars extra and hour for 3-11 or 11-7. Other places you can make up to $50 and hour for woring 2 12 hour shifts but if you figure it out its like working 5 8 hour shifts making $30 an hour. I also varies between states and higher towards cities.

A:
20.00 + PER HOUR

For general career info: US Occupational Outlook Handbook www.bls.gov/oco and can type into search 'registered nurse'. There may be other resources at the bottom of the page as well.
