What is generally considered to be the worst job in an oil refinery?

What's the job at the bottom of the ladder in an oil refinery, and what sort of duties does that position entail?

outside operator. it's a tideaous job with long shift hours, sometimes dangerous. It requires that person to be around certain unit or groups of units, and perform certain daily routine work such as taking readings (temp., pressure, etc.) sometimes bringing samples for analysis. report any deviation to the steady state of normal operation. and act accordingly after having the ok from his superiors (probably panel operators and shift managers)

At 30 dollars an hour, it's not so bad! Being a "roughneck", I think. However, it means long, hard work-shifts, or double shifts in an extremely dangerous situation, drilling with the danger of gas pockets; three weeks on and one week off.
