What type of nurse can work in labour and delivery?

I am considering nursing and would like to know if RPN's can work in labour and delivery or only RN's.And is there alot of openings in nursing in labour and delivery?

Depends on where you live honestly. I'd check with your local hospital. They might even have a website to let you know what openings are available. I'm pretty sure you have to be an RN though, at least that's what I've noticed.
