What do you think an environmental service attendant is?
Asked by dbush1982
I am looking at job ads and came across one for an environmental service attendant. This is at a long term care facility. The only other information provided is the category non-clinical>service. Serious answers only please.

I would say it is a janitorial position. A lot of companies are coming up with "fancy" titles to entice people to take a job that they might not otherwise consider. For example, the garbage men in my area are called "Sanitation Engineers" and a local company in my area calls their receptionist the "Director of First Impressions"

To be honest, it sounds like a janitor position. I hope I am wrong.

I agree that it's janitorial. Since a "Long-term care facility" means Nursing Home, you'll probably be cleaning up a lot more than spilled milk, if you get my drift.
