What is a "Forging-Press Operator II"?
Asked by Seeker2008
The only description apart from the above is "Will operate stamping press." This is a production environment. No experience is required...it is stated that "Employer will train." I just wanted to find out a little bit more about what this actually *is* and what is it like to work in a place like this? Is this machine hard/awkward to operate? And...what would it be 'forging' exactly? Forgive my ignorance...but...this looks like a decent opportunity to learn something new. I know there are so many things that companies and factories use machines to 'forge'...so...I guess that's not a very good question to ask. :-) Anyway, any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you would be working with metals as a machine operator. If you are given an opportunity where they will train you to run these machimes, you sg\hould take the opportunity. Machinist can make a lot of money, but getting the experience is hard. But this compnay is willing to train you, I would take it if I were you.
