About how much does a high school teacher make?

My teachers always say they dont get paid enough is that true.

That depends on alot of factors. Depends on where in the country they teach, how many years they have been teaching and whether they have an undergraduate degree or a master's degree or a PHD. The more years of service, the more years of education, the more they make. My wife is a teacher. She's been teaching in New England for 20 years and has a master's degree and she makes $65,000 per year.

yes, my mom taught elementary school and jr high. mid 30's to low 40's....that's in thousands of dollars..... it might seem like a lot....but when you work as hard as they do, and dealing with hundreds of kids on a daily basis with grading papers, etc. yes they should get more!

$30,000 and time off.... that is when they find other jobs. I dunno, paid "enough" you sorta go to a job knowing how much you are going to make so either don't do it or don't bitch.
