What is the estimated % comission for a insurance sales?

I am interested in applying for a job position as a Insurance Sales executive. In the ad it explains that the salary is based on a basic pay + comissions. So I am wondering how much could I expect froma comissions. Any one in Insurance sector has the experience to explain this to me?
