Go through a temp agency like Randstad or Accountemps. They usually make you do tests before giving you a job. That way, you can get more experience.

Take some classes at you local community college. it will be very hard to walk into a business knowing nothing about bookeeping since thats all the $$$$.

If you don't have a background in accounting, then employers won't hire you. So, study accounting and try to find an internship that will get your foot in the door.
