Does anyone know what websites I can use to find information on CA labor laws?
Asked by CMS7447
I just got a great job in HR and I wanted to see if anyone knows websites I can go to so I can brush up on the labor laws. Also, I wanted to order books on this for HR Managers and it doesn't look as thought this company has them. I'm hoping someone out there can lead me in the right direction. THANKS!

Congrats on the new job! :) Here are some HR sites that have white papers, books, and lots of other resource links: www.shrm.org www.humanresources.org www.employersgroup.com And here are some labor law sites for CA: www.edd.ca.gov www.dfeh.ca.gov www.dir.ca.gov As well as a couple on the Federal level: www.dol.gov www.eeoc.gov Best of luck in the new job!
