What would be the best description of bilingual on a resume?
Asked by Zarahel
Thanks! I meant for bilingual.

Good question because I tried asking something similar some time ago with little response. I was looking for an official accreditation - I found some, but they look tricky to acquire and people may or may not accept them anyway. Under a skills section - after education, I would put <Language> Fluency, then written x years, spoken y years, read z years, for example. Ideally you want this caught by a headhunter/HR rep search engine. If you wanted to make this the focus of your resume include the language in your objective line. Such as: Looking for a position in the XYZ area which can best utilize my skill in <language> and <language2>.
Bilingual in Turkish from parents.

it pretty much speaks for itself, and you dont want to waste valuable space describing it. I'd go with something like "Fluent in LANGUAGE" under some general skills section. Thats what I have
