I've been working in nonprofits and social services for approx 10 years and need to switch careers. Looking for suggestions in retail or managment careers. My strengths are customer service and relationship building, detail oriented, working as a team member, creative and able to see the bigger picture. Open to suggestions for companies or careers.

Look into Vision care. They are always looking for good retail management people

You don't say what state you live in but many states (along with some local government entities) have Job Service help centers. Florida has Jobs Plus offices where counselors can help you with resumes, job screenings, etc. Contact (don't laugh...it's a great source of information) your welfare office for a phone # or service location or the Unemployment office. Other sources are job fairs, career counselors at colleges, etc. Dig deep and take the plunge!
