If it's after the school session ended for the summer, it can be like a regular job (8 hrs. per day, up to 40 hrs. per week). No permit (only 15/16 year olds), but if you want to have them as a business expense you can deduct, I would go ahead and get w-2s on them. Your state employment service can get you the forms.

as long as you pay him under the table and he claims no earnings it dont matter ,just be sure he doesnt get hurt
