how much do parts advisors make at dealerships?

I work at a parts counter at a dealer in texas and am felling under paid latley they pay me 1500 a month salary and 3% of gross profit. This seems too low to me. After taxes i only take home around 28000. What do you all think?

You can research average salaries for all types of jobs at Salary.com. You can get some good info for free, or more detailed reports for $$. I've never used anything but the free data, both as an employee and an employer. Just plug in a job title & zip code, then it will give you a list of job descriptions.
