No ,for underwriting you need to study Balminess, carping and forestry .After that it would be worth looking in a dictionary, in preperation for your next career. UCLA does a course in professional confusion for graduates.

Surely you mean undertaker? An underwriter is something to do with insurance.

An underwriter works in the insurance industry, and you need lots of maths for that. There are Associate's degree programs for undertaking.
