This may sound off the wall, but I'd check the airport in your locale, for a translating job.

The federal government would hire you if you have the regular qualifications such as education. Any place who deals with that country on a regular basis would need someone who could communicate with them. I worked for a government agency that received letters from around the world and we always needed interpreters.

try being a language teacher(my former Italian teacher goes around the world with her students)(you might also have to learn 3rd language) or a translator(you have to pass a test). Language teachers tell about different cultures and you need good references after you qualify as a teacher.

Please do not be insulted if I point out that your English skills are lacking. That is going to make it difficult for you. Import and export companies often need translators, as do many international companies. There are government jobs, especially the state department. If you have another skill or interest that would point the way to which companies to apply with.
