Personally GO into the Hotels and ask to speak to the Operations or Front Desk Manager. When you say "receptionist", I assume that you mean that you want to work at the Front Desk? Take a copy of your resume, and be prepared to answer questions involving real life scenarios (ie "what would you do if an irate guest needs to be moved to another Hotel if we are oversold?", etc). Sending in a resume via the post will not get you a Hotel job. They want to see you, see how you present yourself and how you speak to people. Just pound the pavements! If you impress someone, they may hire you, even if they don't have a position available. Good Luck!!
Hotel Manager for the past 10 years.
