what do you call an LPN (licensed practical nurse) with a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) ?

You call them an..............LPN! Now, if you become an RN and get your Bachelor's in Nursing then you become an RN., BSN. Other than that, you don't have any special title added to your initials just because you have a bachelor's in an unrelated field.

I usually call her MOM she used to work in OB (delivery ward) now she works with the terminally ill. Her title was RN registered nurse

You are still an LPN. the only way you can change that is to have you bachelors in nursing. Actually you have two steps to get there, first is an RN, the next is RN BSN.pp
