What can I do with a Business Administration Degree?
Asked by webster_sl
I don't like business but I couldn't decide on a specific field of study that interested me. Because I don't like business, I didn't have a regular emphasis but instead minored in History. I've been working manual labor since I graduated but I would like to find a decent job. There isn't much to choose from in my area except clerical jobs. What other options does my degree give me?

Business Administation degrees are great because there is no limitation on where you can go. You can work in private industry or the public sector.
You have to determine what you want to do. You can work for corporations, government and/or you become an entreprenuer. You get the luxury to choose.
Take a look at this round up of blog post specifically for college graduates. They may help you land!

A business administration degree is a very broad degree. You should be able to get any entry level business position in a company. It might have been better if you specialized in something, such as finance, accounting, or marketing. This would make it easier for you to get a job.
If you don't like business, get your Master's in something else. It is never too late.

You don't have to stay within your degree. What if you had a degree in zoology?
You can actually do many jobs with your degree. You need the help of a head hunter or an employment agency. What does interest you? What would you like to do? You have to have some basic idea of what you would like for a career.
Maybe you are a person that should not have attended college. How about the service? How about working your way around the world? If you don't have a family to support, why not? I think you are lost & grasping on where to go from here. You need to find your passion & it is clear you have no idea what your passion might be. Take the time NOW to discover it. DON'T go in to a job you dislike even if the pay is good. You will be unhappy forever.
Get out there & search for the passion & don't come home without it...................You can do it..........
