Looking for a part time job in St. Petersburg, Florida?
Asked by Moe
I'm 17 and I currently work as a cashier. It's not a good fit. My only problem with the job is the customer service part. I'm not a people person. I need a job where I don't have do deal with people. I'm not good at it and I have given the job a chance. I've been there for over a year. It's my first job and I'm ready to move on. I don't want to be spend so much time doing something I dread. I'm working on my life and trying to improve everything because I was currently diagnosed with depression and put on medication. And my job is definitely something I have to change. I'm not a people person. I tried to be. It just didn't happen and I don't think I'll ever be. Please give me some ideas. I would love some real help with this instead of people telling me to suck it up. Thanks for any advice you might have.

Landscaping, planting, gardening, grass & lawn care and/or pool care. Join an existing company or start your own! You're not too young to be thinking about your own company after you're done school. Go 4 it.

I know how you can make a good amount of money on the side. I'm a college student in New York and my friend showed me a website that pays you to take surveys. Before you jump to conclusions, I tried it and it is 100% percent Legit and will cost you nothing at all. I tried it and just got my check in the mail. If you don't believe me I'd be glad to email you proof. I don't want to spam this website on yahoo so just email me at JamaicanGigal0w@yahoo.com and I will gladly send you and anyone else reading this the link.

I like the pool service suggestion. Lawn care is a great one for your area. I used to live in Seminole, lots of retired people in your area needs all kinds of things done for them. Manpower has day jobs, worked thru them some, interesting because you don't know what they will offer you each day Good luck

At your age, it's going to be hard to find a job that's not customer service oriented where you're going to have to deal with people on a regular basis. I wish I could help you, but it seems most jobs you are going to have the customer service part attached. Hey 'money$$' - you just said you were 13 in another question. What's up with that....did you age 3 years in 2 seconds???
