Coal Miners..?

I was told recently that I could go work in a coal mine for 45 dollars an hour.. This seems a little off in my opinion.. does anyone know how much they make?

That's probably right... but remember you'll have to take out additional life insurance (because this is a risky job and you want your family covered). You will probably have great health insurance, too. (Again, you'll probably have to pay out the nose for it.) Will they guarentee you a 40 hour workweek? Maybe it's parttime work so they can pay you alot.
