A warehouse worker usually does heavy lifting and shipping and receiving type of work. They may drive a fork lift or sweep and organize parts...all depends.

Well my husband is a warehouse manager for a freight company. He has his staff do varies task. Depending on the type of company, they usually off load and load trucks, route freight shipments, stock, clean the warehouse , control deliveries and receive deliveries, log information pertaing to delivers, freight loads and what is being delivered. If you deal with the airport you may have to deal with hazmat stuff.
But each company is different so it may vary some.
