How much should I charge for babysitting in the bay area?

I am a teenager, I want to babysit in my apartment complex. How much should I charge? This is my first time babysitting. Should I charge by hour or by child. Thanks

7.50 - 10.00..I live in Tampa Florida and I pay my sitter 10 bucks an hour to watch my 3 year old son.

u charge both by the hour for 1 child would be about $8. each additional child at $6 more an hour.
