job scope or responsibilities for maintenance manager in hotel industry

wow... u gotta a lot in front of u when becoming the maintenance manager for a hotel.. You have to make sure everything works. water electrical mechanical gas the pool Heaters, AC (HVAC) maintain the furniture in good condition, or repair if it breaks (beds, furniture, doors, windows) sometimes, you'll be responsible for landscaping also, as well as shuttle driving, and shuttle maintenance. repairing, replacing door locks carpet lightbulb changing mirror changing/hanging upholstery laminate floors and counter tops and anything else that wouldn't be attributed to other employees of the hotel. you'd also have to supervise any maintenance employees working under u, doing the same work.
Ive been in hotel mgmt for 5 years.

Guests comfort comes first! safty is a big focus as well, not only for guest but TEAM MEMBERS as well. aperance of your property sells rooms. you have 5 tools with you, hear, see,smell, taste, feel. use them!!!
