A work at home job. However, if you decide on doing this type of work I urge you to investigate it thoroughly before you get into it. Many are scams. For example, if they require money up front it is a scam. This site gives you the advantages and disadvantages of telecommuting or working at home.

Well, if there are no bookstores in your area, are there any department stores which have book sections? Or maybe you could get a job as a library assistant.

here's an idea:
get a phone book and call all the local roofers, plumbers, lawn care guys, etc. and ask them how much you would make if you were to refer some biz to them.
then you get on the computer and look up your county's property assessors office. this allows you to look at who owns houses in your area. come up with a letter for each company and begin to self address these letters to each house. don't put the companies name, just say that you work for a roofer and you are looking for some business around town. put your phone number. when they call you back, get their name and number and tell them someone will contact them. give the number to the roofer.
it might cost you some money in stamps but after a while it will pay for itself.
Just an idea.

If you are a people person and have good customer service skills you should consider working for a bank. I have a friend that is 20 and works as a teller she is full time but they hire part time they have reasonible hours and are flexible with your shedule. You don't need a college education and if you were to become full time they have great benifits. You wouldn't have to lift anything heavy and you would be in a grown up atomopshere. I am 20 and a student and work at a resturant and I know how much it sucks I have considered going to work for a bank but I have school so until I quit that I am gonna be a waitress for now. Well goodluck with everything and with your pregnancy!!!
