CNA in a nursing home facility is easier I think. I worked in one for quite some time. But the pay is better in the hospitals. The only drawback I found with that is the hours. If you have children, husband, or other interests or activities, this is probably not going to work out well for you. If you are single and want to make X-tra $ then go for it. The nursing home setting is easier because you will mostly be dealing with the same patients daily, have a routine, and become familiar with your patients. But alot of peoples opinions will differ. You will just have to figure out which one you want to work at. Good luck on whatever your choice is!

I would say no.I think the hospital might be a bit better as the nurses will help if you need them to.The other Aid if there is one, works together bathing, all the pt. Hospitals pay more..The hospital where I worked, not as a CNA starts out really well. They pay goods because they need Cnas that will stick around....

hospitals are always short so you are likely to be very busy in one.
