What does a construction foreman do? Plzzzz help me figure this out!?

I really need to know what a construction foreman (labor foreman) does. I'm trying to type up a resume for a family member, but I cant seem to find any specific duties or assignments they have to do. If you know any plz tell!! Thanks!!!

Home construction Foreman's are like project supervisors. They are in charge of the contractor and subcontractors on the job. The foreman is also responsible for reporting to the builder and customers what stage the build is in, coordinating inspections by the proper authorities, insuring that construction is in line with the building specifications, security to the site are just a few. they are the overseers. they assign jobs , hire help, and examine the work. If needed they can pick up a hammer every once in a while, but they pretty much just run the show.
