Lisa S
If I am going to an interview for a custodian position at a big Distribution Center, should I dress up?

Best Answer:
YES! You can never go wrong by dressing for any job interview. It shows you have some brains, taste, self-discipline, and you care about what people think. All of that equals pride---and those are qualities I want in a custodian and any other employee. You never offend someone by walking in with dress clothes, but you could turn someone off by showing up too sloppy. Who knows? They may see more potential in you and you may not stay a custodian long. Best to you.

A:
Yes Yes Yes. I would not dress in a tux mind you, but a nice shirt, tie and dress pants, or dress pants and nice top/skirt if your a woman would be appropriate. Look at it this way, you are making your first impression on your prospective employer, what impression would you like to make. Show them that you care enough about the job by taking the time to dress up. Best of luck on the interview

A:
Classically, you dress for the interview, NOT the job. Dressing as well as possible makes you look good, and shows your respect for the interviewer and the company. It's a social gesture, and your visual impression is important, too. Good luck ...
