Could my friend get a job at a warehouse as a forklift driver with a misdemeanor drug charge?

I believe it would be down to the organisations policies, certainly my organisation does not seek that information at recruitment, but if an employee is found to be under the influence at a drug screening then the organisation takes a dim view of that, as there is a zero tolerance approach.

sure. usually employers only ask if a person has been convicted of a felony

that is a business decision and will be based on the business policies and their insurance company's willingness to insure such a person.

Sure. My husband works as a forklift driver and there are several guys there who have had minor charges. Some who come to work a little on the high side sometimes -- but most employers keep an eye out.
