how much does a hospital pay food service workers?

I'm thinking of applying for a job at my local hosptal doing food service work. Does anyone know how much hospitals pay people for this kind of work? is is above the min wage? or higher since it's a hospital?

It might depend on the health care facility. And there seems to be a lot of jobs for food service workers especially in a hospital or nursing home/long-term care setting. Just a word to the wise, there is probably a lot of standing and bending in that type of job. Just fyi :) Good luck in your endeavors. $12.74 per hour in Canada $9 to $11 per hour in USA i guess it depends on the state or province.... but as far as I know those are the standards.
