How does one get a security clearance for federal employment purposes?
Asked by conland711
I'm very interested in pursuing federal employment, but I've read in a guidebook that some of these positions require security clearance. How can I get one?

Best Answer:
if your selected for that job, they will perform required security clearance and back ground check.

A:
Apply for the job you are interested in and they will arrange the security pass once they hire you. Having said that, you might want to check what would prevent you from getting a security pass - shoplifting charge, trespassing charge etc.

When you apply , they will put you through the appropriate process for the clearance level needed . If you pass , you may be hired . If you don't , you're Not ! >
