Wondering about career direction.?

I am 23 and working on finishing my undergrad studies. My major is geography and I've considered Urban Planning. I am also interested in Law, and have thought about applying to Law school. At this point, I'm working as a carpenter to put myself through school and I enjoy the work a lot. People have suggested that I work toward becomming a General Contractor or Developer. I worked for a time with a Construction Management firm and didn't particularly like it. I wouldn't mind at all being in construction if I needed to stay there, but I would like to try something else first. Any thoughts would be helpful.
