What should I wear for a kennel assistant job interview?

This field is different than any I've ever been in/interviewed for. Common sense dictates that a suit & tie for a kennel assistant job at an animal hospital is is too much. What should I wear to the interview? Is a dark colored khaki pant and a polo shirt ok?

Absolutely. Suit and tie would be over the top. Go with the Khakis and Collared shirt.
