Can anyone help me with how to get an offshore cooking job.?

I have been cooking in restaurants for 15 years and till Katrina hit was from New Orleans. I have always wanted to cook offshore but never tried. Now I want to do it and dont know what to do or where to start. I am willing to do cruise work but prefer to work on a rig or something like that.

I know there are alot of cruiselines that hire and train you. I'm not really sure which ones, but I know a couple of years ago I was looking into it. I know that 2 of the companies are in Florida though. Try looking in classified ads from Florida newspapers. Google it!
