Question about QA/QTP??

I am 19 years old guy planning for my future. Can someone pls help me out on some of these questions 1. What are the things someone need to start QA/QTP training(i mean degress, what kind of other education) 2. How long are classes for QA/QTP?? 3. Can someone expect a job as QA enginer QTP tester after classes only for 10 weeks?? 4. How hard are the studies?? Someone told me its easy!! 5. what are the expenses for this training(from begining to end) I am confused what to do??? I don't have any degree yet. I like working on computers but not LOVE it at all... My dad is forcing me to go with computers... Pls reply with some serious answers... **Thanks**

1. Basically, any degree in IS (i.e. MIS) or IT can land you in a QA position. You want to focus heavily on learning several programming languages because you won't know what QA or QTP position you will get. Most of them require specific programming languages. You can also be a Database QA/QTP which would require programming language knowlegde related to Databases. You may want to get some programming certifications in addition to your 4-year degree. 2. Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university (a master's degree won't hurt either) 3. Unless you are on an internship, you won't have an offer after only 10 weeks of classes. 4. Difficulty depends on your level of comfort with computers, technology, and programming languages. 5. Basic tuition expenses. Plan to spend anywhere from $5,000 - $10,000 per year or more for your bachelor's degree and an additional $1,500 per certification you plan to obtain.
