What should I wear to an interview at an animal hospital?
Asked by Michelle R
I'll be working in the kennel with all the animals, which probably means picking up feces, feeding them, etc. Since the actual job isn't exactly gonna require nice clothes, should I still wear nice things to the interview?

You want to look clean and tidy. You want to give them the impression that you are a clean person that will pay close attention to detail. Wear white cotton (blouse or long sleeve shirt) and dark pants. Don't bother with a bunch of jewelry but you want to appear very presentable, and clean.

Yes, nice clothing is very important, although I would suggest slightly sensible looking shoes rather than very high heels or whatever, especially if part of the interview is a tour of the facility, or something.
Fur and leather should be avoided, definitely.

Leather and fur. He he ha. Jk. Yes. You should always wear appropriate clothes. Wear something you would wear out to dinner with friends. Not clubwear and no jeans or shorts.

Dress somewhat casual, wear slacks and a nice collared shirt with it. Don't bother dressing up business like. Make sure to be interested, even though scooping poop isn't that great, you'll still have a fun experience with the animals.
When you get to start work I suggest wearing scrubs, they're comfortable and easy to wash.
