How much does a manager or assistant manager at a Subway sandwiches restaurant make? Say, in Washington state?
Asked by release_the_fleece
I am curious, because I might be promoted to Assistant Manager, and my boss is not sure what wage he might pay me. I have worked for my boss for almost a year and have proven myself trustworthy and knowledgeable, but I do not have a college degree or managerial experience.

Depending on where you live (Seattle will pay better than a rural area, due to cost of living), I would guess not much more than the regular crew. Maybe a $1 or $2 more an hour. At least to start.

Maybe about $400 a week. That's before taxes. Do yourself a favor, and don't get involved with management in the fast food business. It's for the birds!!!

All Subways are franchises, so it depends upon the owner. I have seen managers get paid anywhere for $8 an hour to $50,000 a year (this includes bonuses) and assistant managers get paid anywhere between minimum wage to $10 an hour.
Good luck.
