Does months by months work experience add up to 1 year experience?
Asked by eittleyellogurl
I recently graduated college and I only have 3-6 months period of work experience. I've been working since high school at various places until today. Could I add up those months of customer service experience? It'll add up to around 2 years experience. Could that be considered 2 years experience then on a resume?

If the experience builds upon itself, then you can count it. Otherwise you just did the same few months over and over again. It's like running a mile on a track versus on a road. You ran a mile either way but on the track you really didn't go anywhere.

More than likely you can make one entry on your resume covering the time period, listing the various employers.
