Asked by r.leikeli
i'm a junior in hs. and i'm starting to think of my future. i know i want to major in pyschology, but i can't choose between the careers. i wanted to be a school pyschologist or just a psychologist, but are there any other careers i can pursue? and what colleges should i apply for in southern california with a good psychology program? sorry, but i don't know a lot, but i wasn't referring to just a bachelor's degree, but if i get a masters too....i'm not exactly sure how the whole thing works...

The only thing you can do is council people and work for a company that's going to pay you 40000-50000 a year your wasting your time and money. You should have picked psychiatrist. The only way your ever going to make money is have your own counseling business.

My opinion, and I also though this would be a good major, found that without a masters, you don't have much. However, most large companies could care less about your major. If you have what they are looking for they will give you a chance. Big corps. look more at the individual than the major. It is all about grades and a masters.
