What kind of interview questions should I expect during a police officer interview?

I am interviewing for a police officer job in the next few weeks, but I don't really know what to expect from my interviewer. What kind of questions should I expect from him/her?

They will ask first of all, WHY you want to become an officer and what you could bring to their department. They will ask about your past employment history, crimes, schooling, etc. They will pose scenarios and ask how you would respond. Also, how you feel about dealing with different situations and people. When you pass the interview, you will probably be required to pass a lie detector test. They will ask about crimes you may have committed and past employment history. Try to relax and answer all questions honestly. Remember, the interviewer makes his living reading people and knowing when they are lying. Good luck! Law enforcement is a great career!
