How long is the schooling for it? What is the starting pay hourly? I live in Buena Park Ca. And is it boring? I went to school for Medical Assistant and the pay is low..just as low as Accounting Clerks. I just want a job where I am not so dispensible. And if I get married and have kids can I really support myself and soon to be family with this career. Please Help.
OR should I just go to school for Medical Billing? I have 6 years Accounting experience and 4 yrs. Medical Assisting. I just need something for my future..So confused. And I am 31 years old..

If nursing is what you desire, the dont stop at LVN go all the way to RN. Starting salaries in Texas for Graduate RN is about 15/hr, but gets higher quickly. 3 - 5 yrs experienced RN's get 22/hr plus. Agency nurses get 30/hr plus. There is always a shortage of RNs and agencies continue to beg for more nursing personnel.

Shoot, I don't think LVN's make that much.
I think medical billing would be great for you.
You only make 13? I'm trying to get into AP, I think 13 will be the starting. When ever I look at ads, accountants are making, 25-40 an hour.
Can you do bookkeeping? THats where the money is, go to a temp agency, I know they'll start you off higher.
Tell them you want to get into business management, where you take care of celebrities/rich peoples money, there are a million in LA. The temps agencies work with them. Either that or start your own bookkeeping business.
Go to craigslist, check out the accounting jobs, 4 years is like gold, I don't think your dispensible....the great thing about med billing would be the insurance if your worked in a hospital...but the money is with the rich people...
Is BP is orange county? I know you have rich people down there. Look in the yellow pages under CPA's.
oh, 6 years accounting? Shoot, your doing great.
Or do the med billing, sounds like you're qualified for both!!
