How can I become a bartender?

I am 19 year old college student and I'm interested in bartending. Is there a special bartending school? Do you have to be 21 to be a bartender? I want to do it part-time whle I'm in school.

go to bartending school...look up in your local phone book, and go talk to the admission rep for all the info. good luck...

You do need training. I forget the name of the school, but it is like a trade school (not a college course).

You have to be 21 in order to be a Bartender. Try searching the web for a school near you that has a Bartender courses in it.

depending on where you live their are such thing as bartending school i would look it up by the city and state of where you go to school and give a few of them a call
