This would be my reccomdendation and it maybe useful for the years to come: 1 APPLICATION SOFTWARE SPECIALIST 2 DATABASE SPECIALIST 3 INTERNET WEB DESIGN My background and take fore what it worth: I have been in technology from Hardware, software and data communications up to satellite works, been in dot com from the begining to dot bom and I still own many products in IT, today I am IT hobby and RE investment for living

A+, C++, and either Computer programming or Web design A lot of employers look for that right now and probably once he graduates as well.

If you want to be a software developer: Computer Programming, Java, Database Specialist. If you want to be a system admin, which is easier intellectually and pays better: Microsoft Certificed System admin, cisco certified network associate, LINUX-UNIX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR.
